This Machine Killed Cancer

Shayne is feeling better today (yay!) and after a significant dose of blood looks a little more rosy cheeked and a little less pale as a ghost. I think this + his silly band in the shape of fangs, proves once and for all that he is a vampire.

His white blood cell counts are low, which means he’ll probably have to get platelets in the next couple of days, but this was expected.

He still has another entire day of constant chemo (not yay) and then two more smaller doses over the next two Mondays.

For now he’s sleeping again - tuckered out from a busy afternoon of eating jello and reading.
